Active ingredient: Hypericum perforatum L., herba (St. John’s Wort) extract 425mg.

Description: Yellow, coated, lense-shaped tablet.

Presentation: 30, €16.00.

Indications: Short term treatment of mild depressive symptoms.

Pharmacology: Hypericum dry extract inhibits the synaptosomal uptake of the neurotransmitters noradrenaline, serotonine and dopamine.

Dosage: Adult: One tablet once or twice daily. Seek medical advice if no response within 4 weeks or condition worsens. Elderly: As per adults. Children: Under 18 years, not recommended.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Dermal photosensitivity or undergoing phototherapy, photodiagnostic procedures or intense UV exposure. Transplant surgery.  Pregnancy, lactation. Add contraceptive barrier method.

Special precautions: Caution: History of mania/hypomania or psychosis. Avoid excessive sun or UV exposure. Monitor closely for suicide-related events during early treatment. Discontinue at least 10 days prior to surgery. Contains sodium, sucrose, glucose.
